The 2025 Toyota 4Runner enters its sixth generation with an all-new model built on the Tacoma platform. Explore the six rugged trims of this capable, comfortable family SUV.
1. SR5
The base 4Runner offers a 278-horsepower turbo-four that delivers 317 pound-feet of torque. It comes with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission with selectable drive modes. Standard utility features include black roof rails, LED daytime running lights, and LED fog lights. You’ll also have convenient remote keyless entry and push-button start.
The 4Runner SR5 comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, and an eight-speaker stereo with satellite and HD radio. The standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package gives you proactive driving assist, road sign assist, auto high beams, lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.
2. TRD Sport
This trim boosts the wheel size from 17 to 20 inches and adds a gloss-black honeycomb-style grille and hood scoop. Inside, you’ll find heated front seats, a 12.3-inch version of the digital gauge cluster, and a wireless device charging pad. Automatic climate control is also included in the TRD Sport.
3. TRD Sport Premium
Select this model for the expanded 14-inch touchscreen and the 14-speaker JBL audio system. The TRD Sport Premium upgrades the front seats with ventilation and power adjustments. This model also features SofTex leather upholstery, a Panoramic View Monitor, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a universal garage door opener.
4. TRD Off-Road
The TRD Off-Road trim showcases styling touches such as logo floor mats. You’ll also appreciate trail-ready performance upgrades like part-time four-wheel drive, Bilstein shocks, crawl mode, front and rear recovery points, and downhill assist control. The other trims provide 4WD as an optional upgrade.
5. TRD Off-Road Premium
Check out several camera views with the standard multi-terrain monitor in the TRD Off-Road Premium trim. This model also includes a hands-free power liftgate. You can add an optional Tow Tech package with a trailer backup guide, an integrated trailer brake controller, and a digital rearview mirror.
6. Limited
The luxe Limited trim adds a power moonroof and leather upholstery. You can take advantage of front and rear parking assist with automatic braking and pedestrian detection. An expanded drive mode system includes several additional settings as well as a customizable mode.
The 4Runner Limited also has a standard adaptive variable suspension system. Exclusive options for this model include power-deployable running boards and a digital key system.
