The 2023 Toyota Tundra offers plenty of options for truck enthusiasts to get excited about. Drivers will want to learn more about its large touchscreen, multiple engine options, and expansive list of trim levels.

Trim Levels

Options for the Tundra begin with the SR, a solid truck with 18-inch-styled steel wheels and an eight-inch touchscreen. Upgrading to the SR5 adds 18-inch alloy wheels and an advanced tow hitch controller with a tow/haul driving mode. The Limited upgrades the touchscreen to a 14-inch model and adds eight-way power-adjustable front seats. The Platinum adds a power tilt/slide panoramic roof with a power sunshade and leather-trimmed 10-way power-adjustable front seats.

Upgrading to the 1794 Edition adds 20-inch finish alloy wheels, a chrome grille, exterior accents, and a rich cream or saddle brown interior. The TRD Pro focuses on off-roading capabilities and adds off-road suspension with FOX shocks and 1.1 inches front lift. The top-tier Capstone adds 22-inch dark chrome and machined finish alloy wheels. This trim level also has leather-trimmed 10-way power-adjustable front seats with a two-tone white and black interior.


Engines

Toyota has equipped the Tundra with three engine options. The standard is a powerful i-FORCE 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that produces up to 358 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft of torque. The next option is an available i-FORCE 3.40-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft of torque.


Infotainment

The standard SR trim level comes with an eight-inch touchscreen paired with a six-speaker sound system. Drivers will enjoy wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. There is a three-month Platinum Plan trial subscription for SiriusXM with a new Tundra.

There is an available 14-inch touchscreen that can be paired with an available 12-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer. There is also an available wireless charging pad that has a charge indicator light.


Advanced Safety Technology

The Tundra comes standard with a backup camera with projected path guidelines to help park in tight spaces. It also comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, a comprehensive safety assist package that includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and road sign assist. Additionally, the package includes automatic high beams, a lane tracing assist feature, and a lane departure alert with a steering assist. There is a full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control included in this package as well.
